Erdene Zuu Khiid

Erdene Zuu was the first center of Lamaism in Mongolia. The monaster (on the base of the first Mongolian city that was decided in 1220 by Chinggis Khaan) was started in 1586 by Abtai Khaan but wasn’t entirely finished until about 300 years later. It had between 60 and 100 temples, about 300 gers were set up inside the walls and, at its height, maybe up to 1000 monks were in residence.  (Please see more information from Lonlely plant and some other sources)

The National Song and Dance Ensemble “Tumen Ekh”.

The ensemble gives its performances in the premises like the yurt palace of ancient Mongolian Khans, without any microphone or technical support. You will listen to the wonders of long and short folk song, performance on the traditional musical instruments, khuumii (throat) singing, well-wishing and eulogies and see the miracle of folk dances, shaman dance, contortion and religious mask dance.

Zaisan hill- you can see Ulaanbaatar from one end to the other. You will enjoy seeing beautiful natural scene and some monument for the friendship for Russian and Mongolia, Buddha monument and so on.

Camp plan and Naadam day would be separately developed by a tour provider.
